As part of the $900 billion pandemic relief bill that passed in December 2020, $54.3 billion (67%) was allocated for ESSER II funding (Elementary and Secondary Emergency Relief). Funding was allocated to the states based on the proportion of funding they receive through Title 1, Part A of the federal Every Student Succeeds Act. 

This funding can be used for PPE and cleaning supplies, equipment to address learning loss, and distance learning equipment. We will continue to update the information below as states continue to release their funding allocation breakdowns.
