Which Pillars Drive Your PE Program?

Randy New

“The choice we made to put a banner in our gym created a culture filled with positive learning, positive relationships, and efficient teaching in our physical education program.”

  – Randy Spring

About the Positive Culture Banner

Randy Spring, 2020 MNSHAPE Elementary PE Teacher of the Year, created the positive culture banner to inspire his students and build a foundation for his program.

What is holding up your PE program? It is important to be thoughtful and intentional about your program goals and purpose. Developing pillars creates a consistent and positive learning environment, helping your students be successful in and out the classroom.

Contest Details

In cooperation with Mr. Spring, Gopher is giving away 5 positive culture banners (3’ x 6’) with the message, “I notice you. I care about you. I want you to succeed. Love, Your PE Teacher.” Learn more about the meaning behind this message by listening to this podcast episode.

Everyone who enters the contest, by filling out the form to your right, will also immediately receive the digital files to 5 different color schemes, in English and Spanish. Use the files to print your own banner or include them in other teaching materials.
