The following three team-building activities will be a hit with your students in upper elementary grades and above. These activities incorporate some aspects of golf while providing unique challenges that require cooperation, teamwork, and a lot of communication.
1. Beanbag Golf Challenge
Students work as partners to complete as many holes as possible while taking turns and working together to keep their score on each hole. See the video for more details and a demonstration.
Equipment Includes: Numbered cones, large buckets, beanbags
2. Blindfold Beanbag Golf Challenge
Students work as partners with one person being blindfolded to complsete each hole. This requires communication and focus to ensure all students stay safe. See the video for more details and a demonstration.

3. Pipeline Team Golf Challenge
Students work in teams of 5-6 students to complete each hole using the pipeline pieces. Teams must have integrity to follow the rules. If a rule is broken, teams must start over at the hole’s beginning.
Rules:
- The ball may not touch anyone’s hand or body.
- The ball must roll down each pipe and the ball may not touch the ground.
- Students may not walk/travel with the pipes while the ball is on the pipes.
- The ball must go into the hole/bucket and not bounce out.
