SHAPE America is the national organization that serves as the voice for 200,000+ health and physical education professionals across the nation. In her role at SHAPE America, Michelle is responsible for the development and review of educational content, as well as SHAPE America’s signature Teacher of the Year program. She serves as an internal subject matter expert for SHAPE America, drawing from her educational background and years of service as a physical education and health teacher in the District of Columbia Public Schools.
