Health Moves Minds is a NEW service-learning program by SHAPE America that raises funds for your school and teaches kids how to thrive physical and emotionally!
This service-learning program features skill-based and standards-based lesson plans that teach kids to thrive physically and emotionally. In additional to unique lesson and mental health awareness, this program features a fundraising component that keeps 50% of the funds at your school!
Here’s how to get involved:
Step 1: Register at healthmovesminds.org – Sign up and take the first step toward implementing your program.
Step 2: Educate – Incorporate SHAPE America’s ready-to-use lessons and activities on kindness, mindfulness, and empowerment.
Step 3: Fundraise – Expand your budget by helping spread the word! SHAPE America has some great fundraising ideas online to help you get started.
Step 4: Celebrate all of the amazing work your school has done with one of our special wellness activities.
Step 5: Reward yourself! Receive 50% of the funds raised in a Gopher gift card to use towards the equipment you’ve always wanted!
